Double Devices in Device Manager

Hey,

I deinstalld the UD Agent and reinstalld it again but now I have chosen the exact name as before but in the device manager stands my computer (Main PC) twice.

How can I delete the lower one couse this is very confusing.

Re: Double Devices in Device Manager

You cannot delete any devices, make sure you change the name on one of them, having duplicate device name with the UD agent can cause problems....

Re: Double Devices in Device Manager

Don't worry: Device Manager will hide the old devices for you. They can't be removed because the work you have done in the past is linked to those devices.

Re: Double Devices in Device Manager

As Scribe wrote, rename them to prevent future system or identification conflict: My Grid > Device Manager > Device Profiles > Main PC to Old Junk 1 and save. Same with the second too.

They will disappear from view in 7 days if without a result and 14 days with.
