Diana G. they had the SuperBikes from Knockhill race course zooming around George Sq last Week burning rubber and doing front wheel wheelies. We even had Jetpack Man - he had nothing on Podcast Man though LOL Dave That is way cool David. Must have sounded really loud reverberating off the old buildings!  Diana  |

Evo - I wonder if those here would be quite as keen on your support if they were fully aware of your tolerance towards certain sections of the Christian Church, ie. Catholics?
Those that wish to enlighten themselves, may wish to look at the following copy of a post at another forum: http://www.upload3r.com/serve/020707/1183403893.jpg I am mainly referring to the signature Evo has used which has the facial picture of someone Evo clearly admires - 'Billy Wright' - a now deceased former Protestant Paramilitary responsible for numerous sectarian deaths including a pregnant mother, an elderly woman and teenage girls. Dubbed King Rat by the media, Wright was a prominent figure in the Mid Ulster UVF for nearly two decades, and was considered to have plotted and carried out a string of sectarian murders. I was just about to ask Evo what he thought of the guy below, as many people in this team see him as their Holy Father and leader of their Church ?

I have not commented anywhere here at WCG with regards to the current religious debate, and I do not intend to. Addy, like others at BBT, your ability to change colours would put a chameleon to shame. You only posted this to blacken my name - look at the response from the good people here to 'Sir Flops' attempt at the same trick- grow up, you should be better than this. Whl, My views on the Holy Father are my views, but my belief in God is a well known public fact. For the good of this team and the harmony of it's members I will keep it that way. If any member of the team wish to question me on my views I will happily respond to them with truth but I refuse to join in your attempts at bating me. My banner, proudly displayed, is the banner of the Scottish Covenanters, which as a, Scottish Presbyterian, means a lot to me. Much the same as other symbols of faith displayed in this thread must mean to the users of their images. I have not, and would not condemn any Christian Team members faith but, in the cause of education, would happily debate it with any other believer. I will not debate my faith with someone who's only aim is to belittle me and my faith. As an outsider to this team can I apologise to the members for bringing this lot into here. If it is the members' wish I will stop posting here for a while, at least during this present pointless flamewar, but still wish you God's Grace in your endeavours. |

Dear oh dear Folks this is getting silly I was just having a chat with EvoDude who has expressed his view in his Saviour.
----------------------------------------You will have noticed up until your intrusion that there hasn't been any mention of denomination anywhere in this Christian Thread nor need there be any as being a Christian means simply to believe that Christ in his everlasting love for you personally took your sin and died as a sacrifice for that sin on the cross once and for all. Now no one here has claimed to be whiter than white that's why I and the folks in the thread need Jesus and if you stop and think about it maybe even you do too. Now where in that message above was there any mention of denomination? Robby I've bought a big bucket of paint would you like to help me paint this fence it's great fun...........  Absolutely Dave!! With the "Collection"  of  old  thinners  available  here  we  could; I'm sure, do some MAJOR Re-painting!  Lets start by turning your Bucket over on the thinners to fortify them. Then with endless patience we will joyfully re-paint all the pointy little pickets in as long as it might take! I apologise Dave if my attempt to make folks here, particularly from outside the UK, aware that there is more to this than meets the eye has caused further consternation.
This has always, and will always be, one of my favourite teams here with many friends - and as a Christian myself I will ask for forgiveness for my apparent poor judgement. I generally refrain from discussing politics or religion, as I find it that often views are too polarised for consensus - I should have stuck to that principle here, and let folks decide for themselves.
