I started a fourth client yesterday. it is running version 5.8.15 on MS Win2K Server. The "My Grid" display shows that I have 4 Device Installations but when I go to the Device Manager the new install doesn't show up. I know the device is working and has completed and submitted some work, but it doesn't look like I am getting credit for the machine or the work? Is this related to this mornings issue, or should I be looking at something else? In any case Helllpp!! Thanks

Hi,
----------------------------------------Given you run BOINC, what member name shows in the projects tab on the WCG line and is it the same as the other machines? Does your new client on the WCG line show points earned? If not, your work has not yet been validated. Finding quorum and approval usually takes 2-4 days from work unit download, sometimes 7-10 days. Only when points have been earned will a device show up in the device statistics cheers

Sorry, yes I am running BOINC on all my clients.

I have the following columns on the project tab with the values from the missing machine below: Project, Account, Team, Work done, Avg. work done, Resource share, Status World Community Grid, Scanner_49512, UserFriendly.org, 9889.17,432.72, 100 (100.00%), So still not sure what I am missing. Question now is, does the problem client show points earned, which get updated every time your client communicates with the server for work validated up to the point of the communication. Notably it's the total of all the clients registered under the same user name / email address. If the numbers of your last post are showing in the "problem client" and are the totals of your stats (times 7), all is fine and the servers know of the existence, and things roll up proper. Good man... 100% weight on WCG :D

Okay so the grid is seeing the machine as mine, and I am getting credit for the work. I guess I just need to see what happens in the roll up tonight. Thanks for your help.
