Note to Cumerband Jnr you handwriting is abysmal you should pay attention to the down strokes spelling is imaginative Maths show you could have a career in accountancy (imaginative) your art and sport results show promise if you could ask your parents to stop sending you food in those baskets and get Tesco or Harrods even to deliver all will be well in the spring term Your marking is imaginative - I am glad Julie marks my homework, not you!, not you! |

Evening all
All this 365/24 taking its toll. The case fan which must have been working for a good few hours by now started getting noisy so I shut down last night and now have the side of the case off until I can get a replacement, hopefully tomorrow. Otherwise it's been a pretty nice day here. |

Evening all All this 365/24 taking its toll. The case fan which must have been working for a good few hours by now started getting noisy so I shut down last night and now have the side of the case off until I can get a replacement, hopefully tomorrow. Otherwise it's been a pretty nice day here. Know the feeling, can I get a replacement for her Indoors? she's getting noisy too Did the 'Old Marine' sail on the 'Cutty Sarcasm'  Nite Nite all  |

Otherwise it's been a pretty nice day here. When you say "case fan" do you mean the one associated with the Power supply unit ? As I assume its still working albeit loudly not to much of a prob as long as replacement is fitted soon . |

Evening all
I think you're entitled to two birthdays a year so that we crunchers can cheer you on. No Den, it was the fan in the side of the case that gave up the ghost and I have now got a replacement. One of the three fans in the PSU is also grunting as if the bearings are going so a computer guy friend is popping round on Monday to see if it can be replaced - if he has one that size knocking around that is as it's the big on on the base of the unit. If not it's a new PSU. |

not wanting to put the frighteners on you
----------------------------------------was a little concerned as to which fan was playing up the Psu one is important The fan count on my 'putors is two per unit one on the cpu one integral with the psu . Water cooling only if the roof leaks ************** I have a couple of Acer machines that are quite as mice the others are audible but not noisy (5 machines) the lap top is shhhhhh silent I did have a couple of machines that had sub standard mechanics I did take the covers off to improve cooling not to sure if that was a good idea the things should have been thought out to direct airflow round the system .......... I have at this moment 3 machines crunching plus the lap top as and when must make the effort to gett all machines up and running two duel core machines that wont play wont crunch getting there but very annoying that the clockwork isnt clicking dont think I will catch Owlie or JP .... softley softley catchee monkey ****************** the list shows 7 ???????? ***************** 12th night I took down my christmas decorations and put up the BD cards goverment now paying me a pension **************************** ---------------------------------------- [Edit 3 times, last edit by densnaps at Jan 10, 2008 9:23:38 PM] |
