Evening all
Just going down to light the candles on the Christmas tree for the last time and have a glass or two of fizz before dinner. So comes another festive season to an end and tomorrow morning the stripping of the tree and sending the poor thing to wait outside for the council to collect and recycle. |

I'd do all my Merling on-line if I could. I probably spent more this afternoon on-line than I did in town.

Happy New Year to everyone. I know I'm a bit late but between losing my only assistant at work and Embarq having a DSLAM problem that cut my internet. I just havn't had a chance to drop in. Hope everyone had safe and happy holidays. Now that it's all behind us, maybe my sales will pick back up. Holidays that make most business sales climb make mine drop (commercial sales for AutoZone) of course the corporate office and the DM & RM still expect full sales as normal (they live in fantasy land).
----------------------------------------Anyway, I've been wondering, when I look at my stats page and all my devices are listed by name. Is there any way to change the device name without creating a new device? When I was with UD it was easy but BOINC/WCG is a bit different. Y'all have a great day.

Can't help you Apartsman. I've only ever had one PC but finished Grid Org with 9 devices and am already up to three here. I just ignore it and carry on crunching. |

When I was with UD it was easy but BOINC/WCG is a bit different. Y'all have a great day. @ acpartsman: BOINC gets the device name from your computer. Asuming you are running Windows, click on Start, then Control Panel and double click System. Click on the Computer Name Tab and then click Change (bottom right). Then change the name.
