In 2007 Hanukkah begins at sundown on Tuesday December 4 and ends at nightfall on Wednesday December 12.
Hanukkah is a eight-day holiday both in Israel and outside of Israel. ![]() |

Evening all Trouble about all these so called advances in technology you finish up with less. You buy a digital TV and find that you can no longer watch one programme and record another so you have to buy a PVR or something like to get back to being able not to be caught out by channels competing with each other and planning programming that conflicts. Then DAB radio, particularly the British Standard, just gives you inferior sound quality. All good for using more of the earth's resources and continuing profit for big business. Rant over; have a good evening or whatever time of day it is where you are. Your right about my video recorder probably needing changing too. It seems such a shame to have to get freesat, a new TV and a new video when there isn't really anything wrong with the existing ones. The new DAB radio is very nice, especially the ability to pause and rewind live radio, but in terms of increased sound quality, my ears can't detect any real difference. Moan over from me too. Have a good evening everyone ![]() |

I have the advantage now of not having to use my dvd recorder as I have "catch up TV on demand" from Virgin Media. In other words I can catch up with anything I have missed from the previous week! Still use it though for anything really important that I might want to save, like viewing "important Team members" when they appear in documentaries , etc!
