Thread: Why is the agent running the different project than I selected? |

Heeeya! Crispy fresh new participant here... I succesfully started the Agent, but - although I choosed and box-checked ONLY "FightAIDS@home" - it downloaded the workload for "Proteome folding 2" project and started to resolve it. I didn´t choose that one. Does anyone have the same experience? How can I assure the exclusivity of only one project other way than box-checking it in "My projects"?

----------------------------------------Very probably you started crunching right off before you edited/saved the profile. If you modified the 'default' profile during the installation process, it will surely take effect on the next job. Weird, i agree. Else, you can open the TaskManager (Ctrl-Alt-Del keys depressed simultaneous), select the Processes tab and find a program called If it continues with HPF2, let us know. cheers. Heeeya! Thanx for the advise! I have only wcg_hpf2_rosetta.exe process running here... Will try to terminate it and will see what happens...

Well, my Crisp fresh new participant.... you got wrong advise, because you posted in the UD Windows Agent Support forum. For BOINC support visit the BOINC Agent Support forum where it would be different: Cancellation is by simply going to the Agent advanced view, Tasks tab, select the HPF2 job and hitting the abort button in the left margin. Cancellation does loose you the points for the time already processed!!!!!

Heya! Strange... I don´t have BOINC, I really have the UD Windows Agent! I terminated the process and the Agent immediatelly downloaded the workload for FA@H ... so everything is ok now... Thanx again!
