My Grid: Device Manager on WCG site

Still fairly new to this, but it would sure be helpful to be able to sort the Device Manager list by Device name and by Selected Result. It would be nice to be able to de-dup the list, as some of our hosts are re-imaged nightly and join as a 'new' device with the same Device Name.

The way the Device Manager list on the WCG site is currently set up, it is very difficult for me to tell if a host (or set of hosts) has dropped off the grid. I must be missing something that would make this easier - if you can tell me what it is, I'd appreciate it. We are using BOINC 5.4 in an institutional setting where I would like to be able to track hosts making contributions to the grid...

For example, is it possible to get more fine-grained results than:

Installed/Registered Device within 3 days
or With Result(s) Returned within 3 days

Or is there some other tool that I should be using to keep track of my hosts?

Thanks
Frank

Are you using BOINCView? That should help.

The website simply isn't set up for your situation, especially with the reimaging you mention.

Re: My Grid: Device Manager on WCG site

I have clients on 20+ subnets. BOINCview, if I read the wiki right, will only aggregate from one subnet. Is that right? sad
