Recycle your ancient cell phone

My cell phone/pda is almost a year old - or in other words, a paleolithic fossil. When it's time to send it to the big cell tower in the sky (no, not the one outside your window, the big fluffy one that all good cell phones go to) I'll mail it back to the manufacturer - just like the last one and the one before that.

Cell phones in particular and electronics in general are a major source of toxic waste. Of course since all old computers are used to crunch for WCG, they aren't so much of a problem wink

Check out this article on e-waste from cell phones.
Cell Phones Qualify As Hazardous Waste

Re: Recycle your ancient cell phone

I should have included a resource to help people find out where to go to recycle different types of items.

Go to Earth911 web site resource list
