Re: David - need help

Hi Joel

Is this the UD agent? If so it's most likely McAfee. I once installed "Parental Controls" and lost many an hours worth of potential crunching. If not try the BOINC agent for windows. Slightly more efficient than UD as it queues up Work Units ready to crunch instead of fetching them after each work unit with the bonus of Dual Quad (Ok Multicore Multi CPU) support.

The other posibility is DEP Data Execution Prevention which is a Windows SP2 "feature" which isn't supported on older CPU's (like mine) it hides in Start Button - Control Panel - System - Advanced Tab - Performance - Settings - Data Execution Prevention Tab

I left My Online Team many moons ago I'm now with the Christian Team

but we have now both done the unforgivable

A support thread in the Chatroom and mentioning of Team Names in the Chatroom

If you are still stuck to avoid the wrath of the forum could you post back in the BOINC or UD support forums - I'll keep an eye out for you

Take care and hopefully you'll be back up and crunching as soon as poss

Dave
