Errors occur in life. So you have a chance to find some typos in the forums or the WCG web pages.
----------------------------------------I thought it would be entertaining to post some funny typos in this thread. To begin with, I remember to the ol' British saying 'God shave the Queen!'. Look at the following text of this info page (Hurry! I think it will be corrected soon): Since World Community Grid's launch in November 2004, more than 500,000 devices have been registered. The computer power that our volunteer community has donated equals one PC running nonstop for more than 76,000 years, an average of 1,000 years a week! World Community Grid's sheer power would rank it among the top five super computers in the world, allowing researchers to shave years, if not decades, off the time it would have taken to run their research on available computers. ![]() Ask not what the world can do for you - ask what you can do for the world. |

Ooops.
---------------------------------------- So it's an idiom I didn't know. ![]() Ask not what the world can do for you - ask what you can do for the world. |

dieter..... we need a new game plan. even though there's more here than meets the eye, if we can move the goalposts, find more ways to skin a cat and end up with the cat's pajama's, i'm sure we can save this thread.
![]() got any good german ones we've never heard? |
