World Community Grid is all about helping people around the world. However, the help that we provide is technical and is long term. The survivors of the recent Tsunami in southern Asia need help now!! We have heard that what is needed most at this time is financial aid. Please consider making a donation to one of the following organizations: American Red Cross, International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, Indian Red Cross Society, Malaysian Red Crescent Society, Thai Red Cross Society, UNICEF, UNHCR, or any other relief organization accepting donations.

One more thing..... if anyone knows of any research being conducted around seismic predictions, earthquake or tidal wave/tsunami modeling, or other related research... if they need compute power, please have them contact us by filling out an RFP at: https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/about_us/request_for_proposals.html
