Error when trying to install

I downloaded the installer, WinZip self-extractor came up, did its work. Installer comes up, I hit Next, I Accept, Next, select the location for install, hit next and... Error window.

Internal Error 2755. 1601,
Pathname to WinZip temp directory with the installer file udagent.msi

That's all it said. Tried redownloading, etc, making sure the old udagent was deleted, nothing works. Any ideas?

Re: Error when trying to install

It's been a few months i did this, but no Winzip or other un-zipper should come up during installation. I think your file associations are a bit off. Here a link to get a fresh copy (assuming u want the WCG (UD) agent: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/bg/WorldCommunityGridAgent.exe

What OS are u trying? One thing u can do is to download the latest MSI installer from MS, which might or might not reset the proper call links.

When using a large search engine for the error found this:

Re: Error when trying to install

Ah... didn't even think of doing a 'net search, just did the boards here. >_< Thanks :) Didn't fix anything, but... I ended up just copying out the temp files and manually extracting the contents of the .cabs, and running those, seems to be working fine.
