sorry but according to wikipedia nothing happened on that date: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1975#June That's where you are wrong!!! A hockey player was born on that date: Niklas Sundström (born June 6, 1975, in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden) is a professional ice hockey player who started his professional career in MODO Hockey. He was drafted eighth overall in the 1993 NHL Entry Draft by the New York Rangers.He was also on Wayne Gretzky's line. He wasn't known for his goal scoring ability, but for his tape-to-tape passes. He was traded to the San Jose Sharks in 1999, and to the Montreal Canadiens in 2003. Sundström plays forward and specializes in defensive roles. When he was a junior player he formed a line in MODO with future NHL stars Peter Forsberg and Markus Näslund. He wore the number 24 for the San Jose Sharks and the New York Rangers but wore the number 37 for the Montreal Canadians.

This research just in: http://people.csail.mit.edu/rahimi/helmet/ (from 2005) Conclusion The helmets amplify frequency bands that coincide with those allocated to the US government between 1.2 Ghz and 1.4 Ghz. According to the FCC, These bands are supposedly reserved for ''radio location'' (ie, GPS), and other communications with satellites (see, for example, [3]). The 2.6 Ghz band coincides with mobile phone technology. Though not affiliated by government, these bands are at the hands of multinational corporations. It requires no stretch of the imagination to conclude that the current helmet craze is likely to have been propagated by the Government, possibly with the involvement of the FCC. We hope this report will encourage the paranoid community to develop improved helmet designs to avoid falling prey to these shortcomings. |
