Moving from UD to Bionc

Hi,

I've been running UD on my computers for a while now, but yesterday found the Bionc program and decided it would be better for my Pentium D processor.

Now it's installed and running it reports that I have done no work/have no points even though UD reports I do (using the same user name - this one). (I'm still running UD for it to complete the work unit it is doing.)

Am I doing something wrong? Can I transfer the work time across or not?

If not, never mind. It's just interesting to see, but means nothing really.

Welcome to the forum......long overdue after membership since Nov.21, 2004. Please find posts that discuss 'validation'. On average it takes 3-4 days, but can take longer than 7. Visit the Result Status pages thru the link in the left margin of 'My Grid', to see the progress of validation.

Re: Moving from UD to Bionc

Hello Zoot Nerper,
You can see your points in My Grid, which combines points earned from UD and BOINC. You can see which BOINC results have been validated in My Grid - Results Status. Click on the work unit to follow the quorum and see how many results need to be returned before your result is validated.

Thanks to you both for your prompt replies. I only have to be patient..... OK.
