The " I am definitely not bored thread"...

Aloha!!
Ok! I've been bored b4. But what with what's going on now... the grid producing results well beyond anyone's expectations, let alone imaginations...the team I belong to, so representative of everything the grid should be, crunching like there is no tomorrow... our gallant, brave friends in Great Britain enacting the most stringent, yet most forward thinking CO2 restrictions on the planet... democracy actually moving forward in America again, though in fits and starts!...my own life finally making a turnabout... Hey folks, I'm definitely not bored!!! cool rose good luck

Sometimes, now and then, wonderful surprising things happen in the world around you - End of Apartheid, Berlin Wall down, Freedom and democracy in Afghanistan and Iraq (OK last 2 tentative, and not such good examples! biggrin)

It just shows you - there IS hope for this species.

Now it would be nice if we could have a Middle eastern solution, a cure for Aids - and a safe, carbon neutral, infinite energy source.

If anyone needs a little luck at the moment its Morgan Tsvangirai - he is a very brave man - and best wishes for him and Zimbabwe.

Mugabe is living (and extreme) proof that it is essential for a constitution to have the mechanism to kick out its leaders after a time limit or max number of terms. He seemed the benign lesser of many evils (for a military dictator) to start with - but soon became Mass Murderer. We have enough evidence that sooner or later, and to a MUCH lesser degree, even the democratically elected ones get too big for their boots (MT and A(T)B on this side of the Atlantic - and for Gods sake - no SONS! )biggrin devilish

No, this world will never ever be boring smile
