Re: It's nearly that time again - What do you make of Honda's F1 Earth Car

I think it's really cool. I love F1 racing and have been a huge fan(atic) for years. I also have to have time to let it sink in and talk with a few of my fellow fans, see if we want this to be like a group thing.

Thanks David for this awesome news!

For the top gear fans ( I don't know how far this will travel) it's a bit like Jeremy Clarkson being an advert for political correctness.

If it means that more efficient and recyclable cars are the end result. Not only in their development but in the mindset of the Globe then the fastest billboard on the planet has to be a good thing.

Here's to season with new names on top of the podium

Roll on the 18th March in Melbourne

It's always the race I stay up for into the early hours with good intentions but fall asleep before the end - thank heavens for Sky+ peace

Yay!

Who's your favorite David? Most of mine aren't racing anymore, but I do like BMW Sauber and Nick Heidfeld.

Re: It's nearly that time again - What do you make of Honda's F1 Earth Car

Fair enough, we all love our go fast everythings but come on, painting up your car snot green doesn't make it clean! Seems like every corp in in the planet is going green slogan stupid and what! We're supposed to go all gooie at their pretentious statements of the obvious. When I see an electric GP car reacharged by wind/solar power the word 'pledge' might mean something.

PS: Great to see our Casey Stoner win the 1st race of the 2007 MotoGP (reduced capacity pocket bike) series last night but hey, his bike is red ...

I am sure the real car will be as beautiful as it looks on their site.
Regarding ergonomics(/readability) and speed; I wish them that the real car is easier to drive(/read) and faster than their site... 8-)

Regarding "recyclability" I do not think any of us really wish that our cars will ever be recycled as fast as theirs... 8-)

Will see next week how it compares with a Renault without Alonso... 8-)

Re: It's nearly that time again - What do you make of Honda's F1 Earth Car

I used to play Speed Circuit by Avalon Hill with eight or nine other people for almost 14 yrs. It was like playing chess with eight or nine other people at once. I almost won the grandchampion of the season once. It was sooo awesome cool I always had Christian Fittipaldi race helmet and my car was Artyon Senna's usually LOL but hey I was the only girl racer and my ex-boyfriend was grandchampion for a lot of those years. Wow the stat sheets we kept! The new tracks we had to special order or make ourselves. Man that was intense. It's been 2 yrs with no racing for me. *wipes tear* my lead foot is itchy hahaha I love F1 drooling

Doesn't matter the restrictions they put on the cars...they always find ways to GO FASTER tongue

Favourites well it has to be Mr Smooth Jenson Button being British but with a sneaking admiration for Alonso.

Mind you we have our new kid on the block this year in the form of Lewis Hamilton in the McLaren - now if they sort out the reliability then just maybe thinking

Kick off at 3am UK Time

You just know I'm going to be asleep sleep
