For some reason, the directory of the World Grid Agent get turned to read only. Should this happen? The reason I ask is because some times I get an error message that the task is not able to complete and the agent seem to be hung and I have to exit it and the restart it. I'm worried that this might be associated with the directory being read only. When I manually reset the directory attribute to read/write and restart the agent, things seem to operate for a while and then it is reset again. The attribute is read only every time I see the above error message. Maybe it coincidental. Let me know. |

I think it's standard but that's not a normal behauviour you get there. You can try to reinstall this software that fixed lot's of issues like these in the past. |

Hi Spochacz
Only the directory structure is read only, not the contents This is so that they will not be modified and have their registeration data trashed in the registery This should not affect how the program runs, or writes data to the WorldCommunityGrid directory I would assume this has something to do with file permissions Right click on the directory and under Properties Sharing/Local Sharing and Security, and make sure that you have not ticked the box that says Make This Folder Private |
