Hello, Can you help me? I’m new in the World Community Grid from this month, february, and I’don´t know what happens with my points in the web page.
In the member Information I’ve 3921 points and 5 days. When I go to the web to see my statistics, every thing is cero. Why? If I click on results status every thing is in progress I don’t have the BOINC agent, Is it necessary to show me the points? I don´t know what happens. Thanks for your help. |

There's very high chance that you log in with a different name than the one u registered the device under! Open the agent to see if

According this page http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/stat/viewCo...mes%5B0%5D.value=Bemburry you have under this log in no devices registered that ever returned a result.The Result Status is only for BOINC clients. If you visit device manager, device statistics and logged in with the name under which you registered the device(s), you should see the points.

Thanks for the fast answer.
I've installed the BOINC succesfully. Now is running the new program BOINC (progress 10,74%) and the last program World Comunity Grid Agent (progress 28%). Have I to run both programmes? Have I to uninstall one of them? Are they executing differents task? And differents progress? |

Hope you installed it under the same member name (which one?) as the UD devices you were already running, otherwise the points wont add up at member level.
----------------------------------------It's not recommended to run BOINC and WCG simultaneously unless you have dual core and control the processes for 1 to run on core 0 and the other on core 1 e.g. HPF2 and HMCD will nearly stop if both run on one core.! U dont have to uninstall UD(WCG) agent. Just delete the shortcut if it already sits in the startup folder. Each job is different. No computer gets the same job twice, but they do get send 19 times for HPF2, with 'seed' variations. For all other projects 3 is the present 'quorum' for cross-validation.

Now I think it's running ok. My Accumulated Points are now 231 points. The time expended until your help was lost and the projects finished weren't send to the wcg.
My member name is the same. |

Ok, now I Know what happened. Two differents name member generates two differents member statictics.
Them, Lord Bemburry generate points, did he transfer finished works? I'm using Bemburry with BOINC, them I think I have delete Lord Bemburry, isn't it? And if the answer is yes, how can I do it? And if the answer is not, can I transfer the Lord Bemburry points to Bemburry? |
