I recently started the work on my computer. It is an Athlon clocked at 900MHz with 256mB ram running Xubuntu 6.06. I am using the linux software in gui mode. It completed an aids task earlier and I believe it said reported but I have not seen my page nor the "Projects" section of the GUI update. Also, I did see during update the error "Communication deferred"
How long should I wait to know whether or not to worry? I want my number crunching to be helpful  |

Have a look here: https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/viewBoincResults.do and see if everything is progressing well.
Pending Validation means that your work will be checked in a day or two, when all the results are in. |

Dell error was aborted by user. I know I completed at least one which is not listed.
Keep in mind the Gateway is slighly below the specs required but seems to be working...
