Output is dropping off.
Are we approaching a summer European "holiday", which means "3 months away"?

Summer has suddenly arrived here in UK, from low 10s to high 20s C so many will have to throttle back or shut down some.

I have had to shut down 2 old systems and others may throttle back some systems.

Also next weekend is bank holiday so likely a dip then.

Paul.

Same here, computers throttled back/turned off due to the heat.

Scaredy cats.... 12 C is summer???

Austin had 90 100+ F 37.8+ C degree days in 2011, well above the average. Highest outside is about 95 F 35 C so far. I'm pushing to get another project finished, so the 8 project cores remain active 24/7. I wish I could enlist the wife's new 8 core AMD Bulldozer machine, but that's another story. Maybe later. Inside is kept about 72 F 22 C in winter and 77 F 25 C in summer. It must be summer all year.

Re: Gold Silver Bronze

LOL Aye, but we here in Scotland aren't built to take the heat! 12 degrees IS a heatwave. People here get the T-shirts out of mothballs if the temp rises above 9 degrees.

No wonder my ancestors left for parts farther south...

At least the computers can help heat the castle.

The computer would find that coolness enjoyable.

These AMD CPU temps will operate up to a cpu max of 62, and that's C. These live at about 57 C and motherboard at 41 C.
Normally it doesn't matter unless there are lots of computers and the exhaust heats up the room too much.

I have all my kit still running and apparently the room is roasting......but I don't care as I am not even in the country laughing Annoyingly though it seems that the security policies on the kit where I am working now don't allow the Grid crying
Have to just knuckle down and build up that server farm I've always threatened.

We'll take what we can get. I have signed up for all challenges I see, except for the small team challenge.
