The throttle is essentially in the hands of BOINC developers with a big push from WCG. The request is to have the throttle work on fractions of seconds (like e.g.Threadmaster does) e.g. at 60%, 600 mil.sec on 400 mil.sec off or even finer like 60/40 mil.sec, but at least to a level where the screensaver frame refresh remains normal.
----------------------------------------OCing is the biggest exposure to getting invalid work units. Watch the Result Status pages very carefully and take it down if u start seeing them.
