Re: Going for the 75,000 CPU Years

At the moment it will take another 25 Weeks (6 Months ish ) to reach our 100th Millennia

bearing in mind the summer slowdown.

Anyone up for a prediction?

David I will predict my daughters 21st birthday: August 3 as the next big day biggrin

Re: Going for the 75,000 CPU Years

Thanks Diana G.

There you go A CHALLENGE biggrin

The 3rd August - you saw it first here

Let's see by how much we can beat it by

Come on let's get promoting and crunching

There are Work Units to crunch and results to be created

Let's give the Scientists on each of the projects more info more quickly than they ever expected even in their wildest dreams.

Surprised Scientists are thin on the ground. Let's see if we can make one or two smile.

Re: Going for the 75,000 CPU Years

WCG is not advertising it, but add UD agent to the BOINC publicly available data and one will conclude that *WE* are the Largest Life Science/Humanitarian Distributed Computing Grid......

Do your own sums, just look at the 25k-50k achievement, than overlay it with a percent growth of H1-06 for H1-07.

Enjoy

Re: Going for the 75,000 CPU Years

Who knows we might even be graced by an official IBM Press Release when we get to 100,000 years

I'm not holding my breath though raised eyebrow

hey who needs that kind of publicity for such a worthy cause

Obviously not us

Keep checking here. If something turns up I'll be even more surprised than those surprised scientists.

I'd LOL if it didn't just make me want to crying

There's nothing like a bit of Stealth Publicity wink
