Re: Aussie Alliance

We actually had a large number of visitors join us on our last "Aussie Assault" for one reason or another (maybe it was the 1 on 1 battle that developed between us and another team biggrin ).

They all had a great time, and though most had intended to stay only for the AA, a number have remained on as permanent team members due to the welcome they receive and the real team spirit.

Come on, ... have a look as we wind up for our June AA ... we are now in the top 20 worldwide.

Re: Aussie Alliance

Calling all members of BOINC@AUSTRALIA!

You may be aware that Aussie Assault 7 is due to begin (on 01 June) and will run until 14 June.
The target is WCG - World Community Grid. This project actually crunches four separate causes:-
1) Fight Aids at home
2) Genome comparison
3) Human Proteome folding
4) Help cure Muscular Dystrophy

WCG is slightly different to the other BOINC projects. If you have any difficulty attaching, check the team forum.
Help is available!

Any other 'homeless' crunchers out there who would like to join in the fun, feel free - we are the No.1 Australian team,
currently in 18th position Combined Boinc World ranking.
Visit the team forum here for more details about the team.

Re: Aussie Alliance

Hello WCG Community,,
BOINC@AUSTRALIA is slipping a little and we need an extra 30,000 WCG points (about 4,000 BOINC credits) a day to hold our current position. It would be a shame to loose it after all the hard work of getting there.

So if you haven't crunched any WCG for a while, could crunch a bit more or haven't joined our team, we need you now.

Even so, we will loose a few places but we will make up a few. At the moment, we'll make up six and loose nine. confused

Any help would be greatly appreciated and the results go to a very worthy cause.

Cheers,

Mike
