How can this happen? Was it luck? It's an ordinary rig, Intel D820 @ 3.4, 1GB ram, X1950pro on XP pro x86...

Same happened late last year sporadically and fixed rather quick. There's already an internal alert out on this and suspicion of a code regression, whilst systems are being upgraded.

XS_Martijn,
That workunit was assigned to two different computers that both belong to you. The server will ensure that only one copy of a workunit is sent to a given computer. Kevin |

Martijn, if u go one level up from the screen shot i.e. the Result Status page, the same WU should be listed with 2 different device names.

I presume that this situation has risen from the past, where a WU was limited to one per member rather than the current one per host. May I suggest an update to the code generating the popup window:
----------------------------------------When the participant clicks on a Workunit_name, then the popup window would only have a single highlighted entry corresponding to the result he/she clicked on. The highlighted record in that quorum list would be drived from the (host_name & WU_name) rather than the (member_name & WU_name). If this is the case, I wonder if the code for generating the "result log" popup window also need to be checked, just to be sure it corresponds to the correct result corresponding to the intended host_name, in case two results have been returned by the same member for this Wu. thank. If i remember well the upgrade of the Result Status page and WU detail had the host names inserted, but was retracted as it was picking up the member name instead. If the device name would be inserted, it would tell a user thru the highlight that 2 e.g. are of that member, and the device they relate too. End of confusion.
----------------------------------------When the upgrade will be re-released is not known at this time. Possibly Kevin will advise in a follow up post. cheers
