Making good on the promise, for those interested and not shy of running a and perfectly stable and 'legal' Beta 5.8.2., bar some elusive work buffer issue: The Benchmark was changed to give better scoring for Linux. The consequence of upgrading is that u could get into a matching situation of 5.4.11 client benchmark with a 5.8.2 benchmark, thus becoming a potential 'Outlier'.... Just that u know if u do this when there is a quorum environment as with WCG!

Version 5.8.2 has been locked by the developers as a release candidate for recommendation. WCG will issue a notice for upgrade when ready. That will likely coincide with an option expansion in the device profile settings on the website, to reflect the added features of the final 5.8.x release.
