How do you get to be a community Admin?
Is it from number of posts? If not.......what exactly are the powers/privledges besides the title that go along with it? Just curious.......... Have a nice day! Jeremy USA -- Grid Lock Join team "USA -- Grid Lock" The fastest growing team on the grid! |

You can get a community admin when you have proven that you enjoy the project, help other people, be an active member, ...
What privileges? I thougt they have a hotline to the WCG staff and they can post in the FAQ area. |

So, let me make sure I am understanding correctly.
(assuming someone wanted to be a community admin) (I personally don't at this time) If I was to make an honest, genuine attempt to help people and promote the grid on this board, and was generally accepted to be knowledgeable and helpful about board issues............then WCG could possibly contact me and ask me if I would like to be a Community Admin? Or is this something that I would need to contact WCG about. Ask them if I could be a community admin maybe? I am just curious? btw, I appreciate all the help that the CA's (and non CA'a for that matter) have provided to the members of the grid. Jerbenn it was the former not the latter.
----------------------------------------I was surprised to receive the email. You do think someone might be pulling your leg but hey it turns out to be true. The discussion at the moment is to get the FAQ's up to scratch. As the Christmas season is upon us it will probably be the new year before there is any progress in this area of the Forum, until then just keep posting to assist all new members.
