Where can a member see the data on the total number of results required to complete the project. We can see the number of results submitted to date but how many are left. As new members get on board the pace will accelerate. Give us the latest projected time to completion on a daily basis. I'm sure we all want to see the prognosis.

----------------------------------------There is none. The post from Alther should help to explain why: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=971#4366 According to a press release from ISB, the whole project is expected to take about a year. Thanks! <dataman> ![]() |

A progress report is really missing from this project.
How about a basic calculation based on some approximate guess? It would at least be interesting to know if it was a 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 done etc just to get a general idea. |

Chris0, the WCG is going to start releasing information about the project's progress. Read http://worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=1312
My own purely personal (though not private) opinion on this is at http://worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=1284#6025 Having gone out on a limb, I might find an axe chopping it down behind me. [Grin] It would not be the first time I have been proven wrong. Lawrence |
