confused CPU 50 %

Hi all,

I've installed the client in two machines, a 2000 and a XP. In my XP the client is using only 50 % of my CPU.... and I have another 50 % of IDLE CPU

why ?

You probably have a Pentium 4 processor with HyperThreading turned on.

Don't worry, it's using 100% of your CPU, it's just a quirk of the Task Manager that ends up displaying only 50%, since it is maxing out the "first" cpu and not assigning anything to the "second" cpu. Since there isn't any *actual* second CPU, just a virtual one, it kinda makes sense.

But in the end, don't worry, all is well.

Unless you are running an AMD or other non-HyperThreading CPU, in which case something is very wrong. wink
