I had to uninstall WCG and reinstall and now program will not start. I get
error loading grid agent error number 53 file not found UDwin_3801_2844.DLL I have not been able to find any. Had been running for over a year with no problem |

Try this. Uninstall. delete subdirectory worldcommunitygrid, reboot, install as previous member, then download the throttle tool. Lawrence |

I have done that and even did registry clean before reinstalling. Where do I get throttle tool. I put all my info in the Grid registration and then hit login and then I get the same message as before

Here are some previous mentions of Error 53: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=6569#53091 The throttle tool (which lets you run at 100% speed) is here: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=2683#61655 The only new suggestion in the first thread is to check the DEP setting. If nothing suggested solves Error 53, then the remaining step is to uninstall the UD client and install BOINC for Windows. Lawrence |
