I've searched around, but have been unable to come up with an answer to the question of validation using UD.
----------------------------------------I know BOINC requires 3 results to validate a WU, but what does UD do? I'm just curious.   |

Similar to BOiNC, there are 2 phases.
----------------------------------------1. the computation with some basic checkmarks 2. The Cross Validation against multiple copies on the server. The difference is, that the validation takes place behind the scenes for UD agent, but it does take place. Also, there is no punitive action, if in the end a result was invalid. The UD software was never designed in origin to consider this.... it existed long before BOiNC.
