I'm trying to set up Boinc (v5.4.11) to run the Defeat Cancer Project but for some strange reason it downloads the FightAIDS@Home Project and the Genome Comparison Project instead which I'm not even signed up for!!!
 Anyone have a clue as to why it's doing this??? |

At WCG you sign up for all the projects initially. If you only want to contribute to one, you have to alter your project preferences on the website. Click on "My Grid" to start.
Bear in mind that if your computer can't run HDC, then it will get no work unless you select another project or allow WCG to send you alternative work. |

Remove the check mark from the box indicated below. Be forewarned though that work units for HDC are in very tight supply, so you computer may sit idle for long periods waiting for work.
