We would like to welcome you tortoise38 to the group.
It is a small but persistent group of survivors and supporters.
The group was started by HSUK and after a period of time no longer participated.
I took over the group as captain and did my best to boost membership.
Some members have vanished but a handful still contribute.
The group has done well with the addition of dl1000v.
If you get a chance, please post to tell us about yourself, or ask a question.

Using 3 old Androids (LG) to run Smash Childhood Cancer.

2 phones have swollen batteries that push the back cover up noticeably.

The 3rd phone has a screen problem, it fades after a few seconds and is usually non responsive.

However, got them working again.

They have to be watched daily for WiFi connection, and other issues.

Some may think it is not worthwhile to bother keeping them going, but it is 12 cores.

About ready to pull the plug on the Androids.

One device has a blank screen, and the other two will not stay connected to wifi.

Fixed the bulging batteries using a suggestion by grumpy.

I'm happy to report that no less than four very senior Base Campers
are visiting you for the second time cool

You will notice that we picked up new ones along the road, and we
practically enjoy a new constellation of our crew at each trek.

Always nice to have visitors that leave the area as clean as they found it.

Base Camp is always welcome.

The original captain and founder of The survivors is HSUK.

Sorry to say HSUK stopped contributing to the group years ago, they would be amazed at where the group stats are now.

A lot of good people have and still do contribute to this small group.

WCG is such a worthwhile cause.
